Search & Destroy conducted an interview with vocalist Fernando Ribeiro in Mexico City, Mexico. You can now watch the chat below.

MOONSPELL completed the “Sombra” (English translation: Shadow) tour of Portugal in November-December. The band performed acoustic and semi-acoustic versions of its best-known songs while backed by the Crystal Mountain Singers female choir and the Opus Diabolicum quintet composed of four cellists and a percussionist.

Now MOONSPELL is working on material for a new studio album in Inferno studium, which it expects to release sometime in 2011. According to vocalist Fernando Ribeiro, the new songs are “the most exciting, sexiest, darkest, heaviest and catchiest stuff we’ve written in ages!”
