Extinct – tracklist and covers

Moonspell had already finished the recording of their new masterpiece called EXTINCT in Fascination Street Studios and produced by Jens Bogren.

Release of this album is scheduled to 6th March 2015 via Napalm Records in jewel case edition, Napalm deluxe box, Mediabook and on several LP versions, all with different cover artwork. All versions except jewelcase will contain bonus tracks, on second disc in case of Deluxe box and Mediabook also with a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the album titled Road To Extinction.

As in recent two cases, cover artwork was made by Septicflesh member Seth Siro Anton.

It’s a true lesson for the new generations of Goth Metal about how it’s played and felt with body and soul; a lesson taught by no others than our Portuguese gentlemen wolves: Moonspell, one of the very few pioneers of the style still around, contemporary to the greats, and for more than 20 years, signing their souls away to the lunar side, when they go deep into writing an album. Extinct will be exemplary and it will leave a profound mark on the scene and on the fans, once it sees the light of day in March 2015.
